What do you like to talk about?

Posted on Nov 2nd, 2008 by boogie : anarchist boogie
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 02, 2008:

What conversations do you most enjoy having? What's the best way for someone who's just met you to get you talking?

hahaha!
i daresay that the question running through the head of someone i have just met would be more along the lines of "how do i get her to shut up?"

What's the best thing you've lost?

Posted on Nov 3rd, 2008 by boogie : anarchist boogie
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 03, 2008:

i lost faith in the lies that people say.
i lost hope in someone ever coming along to save me.
i lost the blinders with which society wanted to limit my perspective.
i lost many many many false friends.
i lost my mind, again.  and again and again.
but this time i'm keeping my head, thank you very much.

What bridge would you like to build in your life?

Posted on Nov 4th, 2008 by boogie : anarchist boogie

hahahaha
LOL at the stupid question that assumes the connections aren't already there!
stupid sheep.  keep on denying everything that is real in favor of the illusions created by those who don't want you to know...

the connections are already there!!  all you gotta do is stop denying it.  stop pretending.  stop believing the bullshit lies.

as far as bridges go, one that crosses the TN River between Birchwood and Soddy-Daisy would really help the local traffic situation.  but the local money-makers will never allocate fundage for all those folks to avoid having to drive through downtown....  because it's all about money, everything politics does, every word in every law that takes away more and more of our freedoms (but they'll call it "liberty" so that makes it okay somehow), it's all about money.

war

Posted on Nov 5th, 2008 by boogie : anarchist boogie
unfortunately for them, there are those who see my thunder as rage, who want to tell me it's wrong to attempt to express my feelings in words here on my blog.  they tell me that i'm abusive and hurtful to people.  they think i'm attacking some imaginary "herd" and/or individual human beings.  or maybe they think i'm attacking them.  but i don't see it that way at all.  i'm only attacking the words we use to try to talk about indescribable things.  they ask me why i'm so negative, they really love to call me "negative" and feel sorry for me that i'm not happy-sappy robot person who quietly accepts abuse society dishes out, because it could be worse, right?  hahahahaha

"so what's really bothering you?" one of em asked me this morning...

and in reply to that, i said to someone else in chat:

me:  hehehehee
i know what's bothering me is the fucking war
all those people dying
and more and more
for what?  to keep the system of abuse going...

him:  ayayayayaya and what can i do about that

me:  it's your responsibility
everyone's
to make it stop

it is your responsibility.  each and every last one of you.  you can either get pissed off and do something about the atrocities being committed against your fellow earthlings, against the whole damn planet, or choose not to.  it's your decision to make.  it always has been.  and what pisses me off is that you would rather leave that decision to someone else, a politician, a guru, anyone but you!!  because you don't know how powerful you are!  each and every one of us has the ability to put an end forever to war and poverty, which are but symptoms of the systemic abuse we allow to happen.  it's our choice, each and every one of us.  and i'll not stop fighting for freedom so long as there's one human on this planet not given the respect we all deserve to have.  so fuck you and your complacency and your denial of what's true.  sure, life is good, why worry?  because it's not good enough if it's not good for us all.

What was the last song you sang?

Posted on Nov 8th, 2008 by boogie : anarchist boogie
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 08, 2008:

last night, right before, or maybe it was right after dinnertime, i sang a silly made up song about a cowboy who liked to wear flowers in his hair....  i thought it was funny, the kids made me stop singing....   "do you have to sing, Mommy?"   HAHAHAHA

i'm always singing.  real songs, made up songs, made up lyrics to real songs, you just never know....  the only reason that was the most recent song i sang is because the family sleeps in late on weekends and i don't want to wake them up.  :-)

How do you like to be woken up?

Sesame Street: Kermit Reports News On Sleeping Beauty

who says you can wake anyone up?  who says i want anyone to wake me up?  besides, isn't it so much nicer to be allowed to wake up when your body says you've had enough rest?

What was the last thing you wondered about?

Posted on Nov 21st, 2008 by boogie : anarchist boogie
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 21, 2008:

i wondered at how effectively creating very complex problems prevents humanity from finding any real solution.  yes, the problems are real.  but chasing after each little symptom won't cure the disease plaguing our world today.

Where are you on your spiritual path?

Posted on Nov 23rd, 2008 by boogie : anarchist boogie
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 23, 2008:

i do not see my spirituality as a path, nor a journey.  i do not believe in this concept of spiritual heirarchy so prevalent in today's society.  i do not believe some are more "enlightened" or "evolved" spiritually than others.  i'm not buying it.  so what if that's what everyone else believes?  everyone else believes the good government is going to save them from the bad government, failing to recognize that this notion of salvation (whether it comes from church or state propaganda) is not an universal truth.

my spirituality is part of who i am.  there is no goal up ahead, no promise of reward, no threat of punishment.  there are no rules i must obey.  in my personal spirituality there is no path, no leaders, no followers.  there is no fear of getting it wrong because it just is!

i refuse!

Posted on Nov 26th, 2008 by boogie : anarchist boogie
i refuse

to be thankful
for the mass destruction
for the dead bodies
that made it possible
for the slave owners
to rule over us all.

i refuse

to be thankful
for the lies that history tells
that make us think the good guys won.

i refuse

to be thankful
for an overabundance for the few
while the many go hungry and cold.

but if i can save you any time

Posted on Nov 26th, 2008 by boogie : anarchist boogie
Bob Dylan - I'll Keep it with Mine

I'll Keep It With Mine

You will search, babe,
At any cost.
But how long, babe,
Can you search for what's not lost?

Ev'rybody will help you,
Some people are very kind.
But if I can save you any time,
Come on, give it to me,
I'll keep it with mine.

I can't help it
If you might think I'm odd,
If I say I'm not loving you for what you are
But for what you're not.
Everybody will help you
Discover what you set out to find.
But if I can save you any time,
Come on, give it to me,
I'll keep it with mine.

The train leaves
At half past ten,
But it'll be back tomorrow,
Same time again.
The conductor he's weary,
He's still stuck on the line.
But if I can save you any time,
Come on, give it to me,
I'll keep it with mine.
