only saw your blog just now. i was never bitten by the Elvis bug but have always been fascinated by the phenomenon.

He was hot. But he’s been dead so long, I think a lot of people have forgotten about him.

Stacy, Blue Suede Shoes was the first song I ever heard by Elvis. I was 8 years old and the girl that introduced me to the music was gaga over it. I’ve been into that dark music for quite awhile. My then current girl friend, Amy, back in ‘73 got to go see him when he did Aloha from Hawaii. I still wonder who she did to get those tickets :-)

The song remains the same.

I’m an Early Elvis fan and his ‘gospel’ music totally gives me goose bumps.  He had an A-mazing voice!!

A friend of mine goes to just about every Elvis impersonator concert…te-hee…such a wild cat KooK she is and love her dearly.  I went to one of ‘Roy’ somebodys’, 4 hour event to see what all the hoop-hah was about and had such a HOOT…I almost had this so called Elvis scarf, that is thrown to dancers close to the stage during one of his songs but found myself being literally pushed clear from it’s grasp by a crazed out fan….tee-hee.  It made for good times and lots of fun filled memories:-))
