I like it
it is a pretty song,
and she does have a beautiful voice.
but i didn't remember him.
i stuffed him into the land of make-believe,
and told myself he wasn't real,
that i had never met him,
that it was all just a dream.
and maybe that's why he still isn't here.
maybe i totally fucked up
and the dreams are all i get.
i turned him into a figment of my imagination
because the memory of leaving him
was too painful for me to bear.
being in love with him wasn't so bad
when i didn't know he was real.
now it just sucks most of the time…
wishing he was here
and being unable to do anything about it.
i'm sorry i tried to forget you, ruben.
but you were always here
with me in my dreams.
even if i thought they weren't real.

Sometimes I wonder and tell myself ah ..it's only dreams..only fantasy…..forget about it…..but then again I remember that they are the threads of the tapestries of our hearts….if we don't weave them anymore…what will we go by?
Even when we succeed in being present in the moment we need to be sustained by the vision of love to still perceive the beauty and goodness despite all the chaos and suffering.
