This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 30, 2009:
safety
we give up freedom for the illusion of safety and protection. i don't much care for it. i don't like being imprisoned, even if everyone always says that's what i should want. i think they lie.

Help

i could have just as easily posted a photo of a child's carseat. or any one of a number of different appliances that are sold to us through fear, making us think it's a good thing, this lack of freedom in our world.
sure, i do know somebody who was thrown through the windshield in a bad car wreck when she was a little kid, one person, who was standing on the hump, between the bucket seats, with a drunk person driving, when it happened. but this is supposed to justify me being forced to spend hundreds of dollars on safety devices that only seem to make my kids cry, rather than keeping them any safer than they would otherwise be.
hmmmm
Montana didn't used to have carseat laws until about 4 years ago. No speed limits either.
here, the globalists have a little meeting they called ”managing global insecurity“ no shit. i couldn't make that up if i tried!
from the meeting transcript:
Ah ~
So…you think you can tell Heaven from Hell?
Blue skies from pain?
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
Did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for the cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change? Did you exchange…
…a walk on part in the war for the lead role in a cage?

try imagining a place where it's always safe and warm.
come in, she said, i'll give you shelter from the storm.
